Motor end paddle sweep bearing with 1.5 take up.
After the power has been locked out tagged out you can start to adjust the chain tension. If your chain is too tight, the bearing has to be moved down (towards the center sump). If your chain is to loose, the bearing has to be moved back (away from the center sump). To move the bearing, adjust both of the hex nuts on the head section of the sweep in the desired direction.
It is important to keep the dimensions (A) equal on both sides of the grain sweep head section. If this distance is not the same, damage can occur to the conveyor. Once the desired chain tightness is reached use the provided locking nuts (B) to keep proper tension on chain.
